Beta Program
NexaDeck is currently in an invite-only beta. Here's everything you need to know about joining, what you'll receive, and what we ask of beta testers.
What Is the Beta?
The NexaDeck beta gives early access to the full application before its public release. Beta testers help shape the product by using it in real-world karaoke shows and reporting their experience.
The beta is free — there is no charge during the beta period. You get full access to all features, including NexaLive cloud integration.
How to Join
- Request an invite — Visit the pricing page and click "Join the Beta" to submit your request.
- Receive your invite code — We review requests and send invite codes by email. Invites are sent in batches as capacity allows.
- Create your account — Use your invite code to register on Abydonian.
- Download NexaDeck — Log in to your customer portal and download the installer for your platform.
- Start using NexaDeck — Launch the app, import your library, and run your first show.
What You Receive
- Full application access — Every feature is unlocked, no limitations.
- NexaLive integration — Cloud audience engagement, song requests, and DJ remote control.
- Free during beta — No payment required for the entire beta period.
- Direct support — Priority access to the development team for questions and bug reports.
- Beta-to-launch discount — Beta testers receive a discount on their first paid license when NexaDeck launches.
Your beta license is managed through the customer portal.
What We Ask
Beta testing is a two-way street. In exchange for free access, we ask that you:
- Use NexaDeck at real shows — The best feedback comes from live environments.
- Report bugs — If something breaks or behaves unexpectedly, let us know.
- Share feedback — Tell us what works well, what doesn't, and what features you'd like to see.
- Keep the app updated — We ship frequent updates during beta. Stay on the latest version for the best experience.
You don't need to be a power user or a tech expert. Honest, practical feedback from working DJs is the most valuable input we can receive.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the beta last?
The beta runs until we're confident the application is ready for public release. We don't have a fixed end date — quality determines the timeline.
Do I keep my license after the beta ends?
Beta licenses expire when the beta period ends. Beta testers receive a discount on their first paid license. Check your license status in the customer portal.
What platforms are supported?
NexaDeck runs on macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel), Windows (64-bit), and Linux (AppImage and .deb). All three platforms are supported during the beta.
Is the beta stable enough for live shows?
Yes. We test every release internally before shipping it to beta users. That said, it's beta software — occasional issues are possible. We recommend having a backup plan for critical gigs.
Can I just buy NexaDeck now instead of waiting?
NexaDeck is not yet available for purchase. The beta is the only way to access the application right now. Join the beta to get started.
What will NexaDeck cost after the beta?
Final pricing hasn't been announced yet. Beta testers will be the first to know and will receive a discount on their first license.
How do I contact the team?
Use the contact page or email us directly. Beta testers also get access to priority support channels.
