Beta Program

NexaDeck is currently in invite-only beta. This page explains how the beta program works, how to get access, and what to expect as a beta tester.

What Is the NexaDeck Beta?

NexaDeck is professional karaoke DJ software under active development. Before making the product available for public purchase, we're running a closed beta program with a small group of professional karaoke DJs. The goal is to test the software in real show environments, identify issues, and incorporate feedback before general availability.

NexaDeck is not available for purchase at this time. The only way to access the software is through the beta program with an invite code.

How to Join

  1. Join the waitlist — Enter your email on the Beta Program page. We'll confirm your spot and keep you updated.
  2. Receive your invite — When a spot opens, we'll email you an invite code. Invites are sent in the order waitlist entries are received.
  3. Create your account — Use your invite code to create an Abydonian account. Your beta license will be provisioned automatically.
  4. Download NexaDeck — Go to your customer portal to download NexaDeck for Mac, Windows, or Linux.
  5. Start testing — Import your song library, set up your show, and start using NexaDeck in your performances.

What Beta Testers Receive

  • Free perpetual license — A NexaDeck license at no cost. You own it forever, even after the beta ends and the product launches publicly.
  • 1 year of updates — All updates, new features, and improvements for a full year from your beta start date.
  • Early feature access — Be the first to try new features before they reach general availability.
  • Direct developer access — A direct feedback channel to the development team. Your input shapes the product.
  • Cross-platform support — macOS, Windows, and Linux builds available from day one.
  • Priority support — Dedicated support for beta testers to help resolve issues quickly.

What We Ask of Testers

Beta testing is a partnership. Here's what helps us most:

  • Use NexaDeck in real shows — The best feedback comes from actual show experience, not just lab testing.
  • Report bugs — If something breaks, crashes, or behaves unexpectedly, let us know. Detailed reports help us fix issues faster.
  • Share your workflow — Tell us how you set up and run your shows. We design for real KJ workflows, not theoretical ones.
  • Suggest improvements — If something feels clunky or you wish a feature worked differently, that feedback is invaluable.

There is no minimum commitment or required testing schedule. Use NexaDeck as much or as little as fits your shows. Every bit of feedback helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the beta last?

The beta continues until we're confident NexaDeck meets our quality standards for public release. There is no fixed end date.

What platforms are supported?

macOS, Windows, and Linux. All three platforms are available in the beta.

Is NexaDeck stable enough for live shows?

NexaDeck is functional and being used in live shows by beta testers. However, as beta software, you may encounter occasional bugs. We recommend having a backup plan for critical shows.

Can I buy NexaDeck right now?

No. NexaDeck is not available for purchase during the beta. The only way to access the software is through the beta program with an invite code.

When will pricing be announced?

Final pricing will be announced before general availability. Beta testers will be notified in advance and keep their free perpetual licenses regardless of pricing.
